Final Reflection
In this module, I have learnt the different types of design
principles, how to apply the design principles in a design as well as
how to identify and analyse the design principles in a
design/artwork.
I enjoyed the self-portrait assignment the most as it allowed me to
explore myself and create a design based on the things I like. It also
gave me a chance to express myself. I did not enjoy our Final Project-
Visual Analysis. Though this assignment did teach me to analyse
design, I did not really enjoy all the research and finding I had to
do. I also had trouble coming up with a design for this particular
assignment. However, I'm glad that I got a chance to do something I
have not done before through this assignment.
Through this module, I have learnt that I have terrible time
management skills. I would focus too much on one assignment and
neglect other work that I have. However, I will try my best to fix
that. Other that that, after completing this module I have become more
observant about the elements in a design/artwork. However, I think
that I am still not able to properly utilize the design principles
when creating a design. I will practice more and try my best to
improve on this.
