Instructions
1. Download the PSD composition below:
2. Import the W10_ANIMATE.psd into Adobe After Effects.
3. Create a composition setting 1080 px (Width) x 1920 px (Height),
Duration 15 seconds
4. Create a keyframe animation to the layers using Position (P), Scale
(S) & Masking path.
5. Render output: Quicktime (.MOV) or .MP4
6. Upload your exercise to your Youtube Channel.
7. Update your progress and video to your E-Portfolio blog.
8. Attach your E-Portfolio link to this Submission.
Task
Figure 2.1 1st attempt at AE
After getting used to AE after the 1st attempt, I did it again to come up
with this.
I used the mask option for the projector. The typewriter and fencer as well
as the sharks are all done with position and rotate. The smaller sharks are
placed in position with the null object option. The texture layer is done
with scale and opacity.
Reflection
For this exercise, I really struggles a bit with AE. The transform options
in AE were really overwhelming at first and I did not really know what to
press. But after multiple attempts, I finally manged to work out how to
insert keyframes and place with the placement of the images.
